The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue arts center in Sydney. It is located at Bennelong Point, Sydney, in New South Wales. Construction started in 1959 and was opened on the 20th of October, 1959. It is the home of Opera Australia, The Australian Ballet, Sydney Theatre Company and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. It can hold up to 5,738 people in total.
