History: New South Wales (NSW) is located on the eastern seaboard of Australia and is the oldest state. It was where Australia was first settled by the British. NSW is the largest and most densely populated state. Sydney is the biggest city in Australia and the capital of NSW. Some of the other main cities are Wollongong, Newcastle, Wagga Wagga and Dubbo.
